Monica Milton's love of art began when she was a child. She loved to draw cartoons and people. As time went on, she strayed away from the arts to pursue her passion for helping people in the legal profession. However, she never strayed far from her desire to create and began drawing again in 2013 and then taught herself to paint in 2016. As she connected with the local art community, she was able to showcase her art at local lounges and coffee shops. She was later invited to participate in the 39th Street Gallery Black History Month exhibit in 2020. She then joined the "Reveal" exhibit at Epic Yoga in 2021. In 2022, she participated in the Women of Color art exhibit at a newly opened creative space called The 3rd. She then hosted her first solo exhibition in 2022 at the Publick Playhouse.
