Zemaye Okediji

Zemaye Okediji is a process artist who focuses on the use of art as a vehicle for self-awareness and deep understanding. Her work uses cutting, layering, stenciling and repetitive techniques to archive personal responses to the human experience thereby presenting ways in which private encounters can contribute to public knowledge. Her work draws from her photographic practice and her Masters’ level study in Art Therapy and Counseling. She can be found trying out new recipes and participating in karaoke in her spare time.
